Turns out short-form period dramas do just fine as long as the plot keeps moving. The FL's glow-up arc rips along through the first half, and the ML switching between black hair and white hair is a whole vibe 👌

The first half is a proper climb, she clears one task after another and keeps moving up. Then the back half unpacks his identity and backstory, and she quietly becomes a side character in her own show. His behavior gets inconsistent too. Strong start, weak finish

Rebirth + fake contract + hidden identity + a mask. A gift basket stuffed with every short-drama cliche in the book. Ak Woo-jung's acting, though, is flawless.
