Ella Cobb spends her first New Year’s Eve at her in-laws’ home. After cooking dinner, she discovers there isn’t even a seat for her. The Knights are giving her a hard time, and her husband, Jason Knight, keeps urging her to compromise. Surprisingly, her sharp-tongued sister-in-law, Mona Newman, keeps dropping hints.
