Synopsis
Shi Sheng designs for a living and has been trying to get out from under her mother's control. She is put on a matchmaking date with Yu Wenzhou, who runs a business, and the two marry soon after, as a matter of what each of them stood to get out of it. They keep their working lives going alongside the marriage. He backs her when she wants to take her own work further. The stiffness he came in with wears off over the same period. Her older sister and one of his colleagues start seeing each other around then as well. Shi Sheng and her mother eventually come to terms with each other.

Ep54 she finally tells her mother no. Ep72 the student–teacher thing comes out. They both plan surprise gifts, it turns into a misunderstanding, and then he proposes at graduation! Ep74 they finally make peace in the dressing room and I was gone 😭😭 Dancing in the rain on the wedding day was lovely too!!
Her: are you ever going to say it? Him: (has not said it for thirty-something episodes) SAY SOMETHING The slow-burn stretch drags way too long and the ending left me going... huh? Kind of let down
Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
