Married a Gardener, Got a Prince

Philip is a prince of Lavinia, a kingdom that has not been one for very long, and the pressure at court to marry has got bad enough that he leaves for the United States. There he comes across Anna, an American woman whose boyfriend has just betrayed her, and he helps her out. He tells her he works as a gardener for the royal household. They marry within days of meeting. Anna's stepmother and stepsister are working against her over her late mother's company, and the two of them take that fight on together, until Anna has the inheritance and the authorization to use the royal portraits. Philip's identity comes out afterwards, and he brings his parents around to accepting her, after which the two of them settle in California.
