Off the Ice

Albert Clay transferred into Lucas Carter's college and the two of them fell into a rivalry that got complicated. Lucas is captain of the hockey team and has a girlfriend, Jessica. Then Lucas takes a concussion and loses his memory for a while. He no longer remembers any of the trouble between him and Albert, which leaves him open to the story Albert has ready: that the two of them have been lovers in secret the whole time. Lucas still thinks of himself as straight while he tries to sort out what is true, and he keeps finding himself pulled toward Albert. Between Jessica, the memories that are not coming back and what he can no longer pretend he does not feel, he starts working out who he actually is, and what was behind Albert's lie.
