Synopsis

One of the world's leading virologists is living in Fiji under another life, working part time as a doctor and surfing, with nobody there knowing what she used to do. Her husband, who has been unfaithful to her, collapses in front of her carrying a virus nobody can identify. To treat it she has to say out loud who she is. The outbreak spreads past Fiji and she is the one standing in the way of it becoming a global pandemic. People around her work against her while she does it, and some of the sabotage comes from close in.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
