Once More With You

The account Shi Qi went by for four years was that her husband, Gu Hanshen, was the person who had done her the most harm. She played violin internationally, and in those years she was cold to him at home and left their son to grow up without much of her. Gu Hanshen was the one who had reached her when she was at the edge of it. He took the humiliation that came his way without answering back, looked after the boy, and settled the Shi family's troubles where she could not see him doing it. He never asked her to explain how she treated him. When the truth came out, Shi Qi found that the hatred had been aimed at the wrong man from the first day. She set about making it up to him and winning him back, and she was clumsy at both.
