The Great Gwen

Gwen Archer is thirty-six, an award-winning variety producer, and newly divorced from Eric Morgan. She keeps her son Ethan and moves into a place of her own. Her mother, Yvonne Grant, leaves Changsha and comes to Shanghai to help with the boy. Gwen puts everything into the work and is promoted to head producer. In that stretch she meets Miles Reed, a young doctor, and Victor Hayes, an executive at a corporate group. The two relationships run differently from each other. Across the meetings and the partings, Gwen works out how to be honest with herself and to put her own feelings ahead of everyone else's.
