Reunited Above the Clouds

Olive Lyle and Skye Marsh grew up together and were separated as children against their will. When they meet again she is an aircraft mechanic and he is a captain. There is a promise between them, "I'll take the plane you're flying." Trouble comes from several directions, a failure on an aircraft, scheming among the people she works with, and conflicts at home. Olive starts out doubting herself and comes through it with more nerve than she had, and Skye stays at her side the whole way. The two clear up the misunderstandings that had grown between them and go after the people working against them together.
