From Rivals to Romance

Owen Reeve has been called Alice Vale's sworn enemy for as long as anyone can remember. Alice is eighteen when she falls asleep and wakes eight years later, married to him, with a son, and with a reputation as a scheming woman who ruined her own family. A small boy stops her in the street, says he is hers, and takes her to a police station, which is where she learns most of this. She sets about undoing it. She cuts off the man who cheated on her and the woman who played sweet, and she looks after the son who has gone without much affection. Relatives and friends say the old Alice is back. Owen keeps trusting her no matter what people say about her. He is not an enemy at all. He grew up next door to her and has been in love with her for years. She takes his hand and their son's.
