Starlight Redemption

In a life already lived through once, Chu Guanxing's fixation on Lin Qingzhu drove her to kill herself. He comes back to a point long before that with a new identity, as Chu Nanhe, uncle to the Chu family's young heir and the man who controls the family's money. Lin Qingzhu is studying architecture when her mother's illness turns critical. Chu Guanxing controls the hospital bills and makes her feel it. Chu Nanhe puts a different offer in front of her: he pays for the treatment, and in return she has dinner with him every day. He uses a wheelchair and keeps his manner cool. He covers the medical costs and pushes her on with her studies. When she is accused of something or talked about, he steps in front of it. He also clears obstacles out of her way without telling her, and holds down what he feels. Lin Qingzhu begins to feel the warmth of it without knowing where it comes from. Later the family's scheming is exposed and Lin Qingzhu learns who Chu Nanhe used to be.
