Rue Shaw reconnects with her childhood friend, Leo Judd, and his dying mother. To fulfill Leo’s mother’s final wish, Rue agrees to marry Leo for his sake, repeatedly neglecting her husband, Cory Gould. Ultimately, Cory grants a divorce, leaving Rue and Leo together.
