The Enemy Prince in His Bed

After the fall of the Southern Kingdom, Prince Julian is imprisoned in the bedchamber of the Northern tyrant Alaric, kept as a golden‑chained captive. From hatred and resistance to forced closeness, the two gradually develop a complex bond amid court intrigues and rebel sieges. Julian uses the situation to investigate the true culprit behind his kingdom's fall, while Alaric reveals his vulnerabilities amidst poison attacks and uprisings. Eventually, the truth comes to light, the rebels are defeated, and the tyrant publicly appoints Julian as co‑ruler and consort. The two then lay down their royal titles and retreat to the mountains and rivers, spending the rest of their lives together as equals.
