Second watch and the rubber prop knife and rushed pacing bother me even more. These leads deserve a longer format.

They're adapting Cora Reilly's book and somehow made it this flat. The big knife scene uses an obvious rubber prop, and the mafia has zero actual menace. Just read the book.

Watched it twice already. Both leads really commit to their characters and it shows.

Luca and Aria have chemistry, no argument, but the show romanticizes some seriously controlling behavior, and once you look past the leads there isn't much story there.

I don't think Luca is as evil as she claims, he's clearly pushing her to learn to fight for herself
