Feels like a properly made film. The details hold up and nothing ever pulled me out of it.

A rather excellent piece of storytelling. Truly the height of exquisite acting, convincing dialogue and impeccably crafted special effects. 10/10 masterpiece
Illogical, dumb, nonsense... and yet here I am watching the whole thing for Evan Adams.
The male lead has real screen presence but the script gives him nothing, it's all smolder, swearing, and one bathroom scene straight out of Pretty Little Liars.
Who approved recycling this script AGAIN? Swap Adeline for Madison and it's the exact same story minus the pregnancy. Be original.

Second watch and the rubber prop knife and rushed pacing bother me even more. These leads deserve a longer format.
On rewatch the plot armor stands out even more, the mom's entire scheme collapses if any two characters talk for five minutes.
That 'mansion' bathroom looks like the one in my basement, and I promise I'm not rich lol
The 'he only sleeps with virgins' premise is genuinely gross. He discards girls after one night and we're meant to swoon because he caught feelings once? Who wrote this
The school scenes are so awkward. They do ALL of that in the hallway and not one student reacts
Why does he never once ask why grown adults are manhandling a little girl who keeps calling him daddy, right before a conveniently older 'Ellie' appears
The chopped-up short format really doesn't do this story any favors
