In a famine year, a five-year-old girl was abandoned at the foot of a mountain by her boy-preferring parents. Luckily, she was adopted by a lame hunter and his sick wife. Born with the gift of talking to animals, she gathered rare herbs to cure her adoptive mother, and helped her family separate from her greedy uncle and his selfish wife.
