Love Among Thorns

Ji Mingwei, the Song family's second daughter, is coveted by her stepfather and bullied by her stepsister. To seek revenge, she gets involved with the Lu family's second son, Lu Jinran, only to encounter him swapping identities with his twin brother, Lu Shiqin, to accompany Song An'an abroad. As Mingwei attaches herself to Shiqin, she discovers that he has been hopelessly in love with her since their youth and even returned early from his heir assessment to protect her. Together, they expose the truth of her stepfather's murder of her biological father, bringing retribution upon the Song family, while her weak-willed mother comes to her senses and turns herself in.
