Marketed as a Christmas story for reasons known only to whoever cut the trailer, it's a family-grudge romance with real teeth. The stepbrother's resentment isn't softened for convenience, which makes the thaw feel earned rather than automatic. Messier and better than I expected.

Short as it is, this couple is genuinely adorable together. Loved this story.

Half-witch, half-wolf, hidden identity, unrecognized mate bond, four premises stacked up and none of them developed. The school politics eat runtime that the central relationship desperately needs, so by the time the reveal comes you don't care who ends up with whom.

Same skeleton as every contract-baby story out there. The cast chemistry is the only thing separating it from the pile.

The 'grandfather' is barely old enough to play a father, just saying 😂 Also weirdly refreshing to see a male lead without a single tattoo. Gorgeous man.

Everyone acts like this one reinvented the genre. It's a solid revenge plot, but the FL makes the same intense face in every scene and half the twists only work because Hogan conveniently never asks a single question.

She writes filth by hand, in a notebook, in the year of our lord, and of course the step-brother finds it. The blackmail-into-assistant pivot is absurd but the show plays it for comedy rather than menace, which is the right call. Both leads are having a great time and it's contagious.
