Watched it because Jin Zhu-xing is in it, and turns out it's based on the Chinese short 'Crossed Fates.' I already knew the story, but Jin Zhu-xing serving up his regret-guy, obsessive-guy, psycho act means I've gotta watch. What's different from the original is the cat-and-human? mistaken-for-a-sibling thing. You already hurt me every way possible and think a 'sorry' fixes it?
A shaman gaslighting her way to taking over a home-shopping company, a scene of someone tied up in ropes, a whipping scene where they beg to be hit harder. Plenty of provocative scenes, and the gaslighting/brainwashing runs on bell sounds? Everyone at the home-shopping network gets basically hypnotized by the bell chime on their phones. You do eventually find out WHY she wants the company so badly, and it's worth a watch ^^
Original: 另攀金枝 (Liu Yu-hang & Yang Shu-yu). Liu Yu-hang plays a dual role as twins!!! A drama that really nails the signature Chinese-short-drama cathartic pacing. In just a handful of episodes it packs in betrayal, misunderstanding, status reversal, revenge, AND romance, holding the tension start to finish — and the lead refusing to bow to an unfair reality and proving her worth is especially satisfying to watch.
A drama where I was needlessly on edge the whole time, sweating over whether they'd get caught being a fake couple. The actor playing Ji-an is handsome. But he acted so cautiously and tentatively that it kept me nervous. Happy ending though, so I did enjoy it.
Peak scumbag-hot sexual tension. Wang Yiran nails this kind of thing too. But... the ending's a bit of a hollow letdown.

Eps 31 and 32 do have kiss scenes, but a few of the actors give such toe-curling performances that it was a little rough to sit through. I figured they'd just lean into their instincts, but no. Go in with zero expectations and it's watchable.
Started this because Kim Ye-chan — from 'Because I Want You' — is in this one too. Like that one, it's a Korean BL with a system-quest mechanic. Except here, fail the quest and you die. The team-leader type isn't really my style, but it grew on me and was fun enough that I inhaled it. Happy ending!!!

Starring Shi Gang and Yang Wen-jing. Shi Gang plays a cold-blooded CEO and he looks GOOD~ A recommended Shi Gang watch and an easy, breezy rom-com^ ^
The cringey lines and directing did get on my nerves, but... isn't this kind of the monument that got me into Korean short dramas in the first place..?
The 10-year-old kid's acting is SO good!!! Living life round two and already stacking up stocks, land, and real estate, plus a twist hiding in there hehe. Saw the plot coming a mile away but still a blast.
Chinese sensibilities acted out by Korean actors is uncanny valley itself. It's only thanks to Lee Sang-yeob's acting that even a 2 counts as overperforming.
This guy handles everything else fast and decisive... but with her alone he goes slow, obsessive, pouring in all his effort... Why is this making my heart race??
lol saw a clip pop up and it reminded me after forever so I'm writing this. I remember it being fun.. Female lead had a frustrating streak to her, so 4.5.
Funny from the very first minute. Just plain funny hahaha. Then the back half hits you thanks to the department head guy... So... is living together actually a good idea? heh.
Wait, Min Do-hee is in a short drama? Went in purely out of 'huh, what's this' and it turned out to be a North-South Korea rom-com with a ton of kissing and it's actually funny. Clever premise, great three-actor combo. Found another new face to keep an eye on.
You get to witness Lu Dandong in full edgelord mode. Fake-siblings storyline. Fun watch.
Based on a webtoon & stars LABOUM's Yulhee as the female lead. A 19+ steamy modern short drama. Male lead getting off solo in the office. The shocking opening scene got my hopes way up, but there wasn't as much to it as I expected, so kind of a letdown.
