I think this is the best of the Korean BLs. First off, BL is love, period. Both male leads are so good-looking that the whole watch was a blast — a real recommend. The leads are smart, handsome, and just overflowing with charm.
Searched this out because Kim Han-young's in it. It's supernatural fantasy, so the fantasy nerds will eat it up. Kim Han-young grows a tail. It mashes up a beast-tamer/eccentric-girl story with gumiho fantasy. But... something's just missing.
Falls into a lake but time-slips into a bathtub — what a funny setup~ The male lead does a little sword demo and I got a faint Chen Xi vibe there~ just my opinion. So I looked him up — turns out he's Chu Young-woo's younger brother~ The acting's not bad, but it's not wildly fun either. Time-slip from the Joseon era!!!
Leans hard into the romance-slash-human-drama vibe built around a doctor and the female lead, with 'my son's physician' being the special thread that ties them together. Responsibility toward family and love flow naturally into romance. It's just so-so.
A fast-paced story packing in the friendship, betrayal, love, and coming-of-age that teens go through. Best part is that our lead Yoo Je-ni, who's got a real backbone, doesn't just sit there as a victim, she goes on air to expose the truth and fights her way through it. Worth a watch~ ^ ^

The storyline actually pulled at the heartstrings. It was well a written, soap opera like drama with some somewhat goofy directing and acting scenes. Sure, the acting could have been improved. But overall a pretty decent job. If the budget were bigger, I'm sure this could have been turned into a great film.

Watched this back in the early Beeglow days, and I was like 'a cult leader in a SHORT drama??' but I had a blast. It's a twist-on-top-of-twist kind of show, and also the first thing I ever saw Ki Hyun-woo in.
Peak visuals for Wang Do-cheol. You get to see him WITHOUT the glasses and it's a full front-and-back hazard zone. That smooth, sly Do-cheol charm gets you every time and it's just fun. Highly recommend!!!
A BL drama, based on the webtoon of the same name. School-set young love — the flutter and growing pains of youth, all giddy sweetness with an undercurrent of tension. He just didn't want to end up the loser at the bottom of the boys'-school pecking order. There's a love triangle too; it's comedic and I had fun with it ^^
The story might be hit or miss for people. The setup where the lead, dumped on her wedding day, gets trapped by a blackmail video..
Original: 危情合约 (Zhang Bei-shi & Zuo Yi). An ad popped up so I rewatched it, and since I loved it the first time, it's still great on round two. It runs the contract-relationship + chaebol chairman + revenge + reversal formula. Thanks to Zhang Bei-shi and Zuo Yi's chemistry and the fast pace, it hooks you to the end — textbook Chinese short drama. Later on, the once-exploited heroine seizes her own happiness. Lots of kiss scenes, definitely watch-your-back territory. Recommend it!!!
Burn through the family fortune and she gets to go back to the modern world — but the more she spends, the more everyone praises her lol. A comedy about desperately trying to go broke and failing.
When I first watched this I was like, how is this GUY so pretty, and it was Wang Ho-jung. Basically a knockoff-uncle version of Wang Ho-jung~ The Yeo-in and Wang Ho-jung combo~ Yeo-in's short too so it gives even more of a niece vibe. This is one of those early short dramas I really enjoyed, so it stuck with me~ It's fun ^ ^
