Why is she the one taking heat?? She pulls herself together, and in walks ML, a company CEO who offers her a contract arrangement. Turns out the project she's assigned to is tangled up with her ex's company — and ML knew, and kept her close on purpose. Even shields her in front of everyone, no hedging. Then the ex shows up at her workplace. First thing out of his mouth: "You still can't get over me, right?" (excuse me??) She throws a glass of water in his face: "You'll get what's coming to you." AND the whole board flips. That's all the spoilers you get. 36 eps, no dragging, and the payoff moments genuinely land. Recommend!
