Can't Just Bite Her

Her divorce goes through, and on the same day she runs into the boy she loved first and had stopped thinking about years ago. He has not aged. He drinks blood. She does not believe it and is pulled toward him anyway, and the second romance of her life begins on those terms. Her ex-husband, who does not love her and by her own account has no claim left, keeps appearing wherever she goes and putting himself in the way of anything she tries to build. She cannot work out what he wants. Between a first love who is something other than human and a former husband who will not stay gone, she has to decide what she is actually chasing.
