The Stolen Motherhood

Eleanor Vance is a poor college student who spends one night with Preston Sinclair, head of Sinclair Corp, and has his son without telling him. Her uncle George and aunt Brenda arrange a marriage for her, so she takes the baby and moves to the city for university. At the opening ceremony the other students mock her for feeding the baby in public, and in the confusion the child ends up in the arms of Elias Sinclair, who is touring the campus that day. He decides the boy is his grandson and carries him home to the family. Melody Vance, from Eleanor's home village, sees the opening and presents herself as the child's mother, and the Sinclairs take her in. To keep Eleanor quiet, Melody pays George and Brenda to haul her back to the countryside and marry her off. Eleanor gets out of it and back to school, and Preston hires her as the baby's nanny without knowing who she is. He sees her working in the house every day, finds himself drawn to her, and starts asking questions about where she came from.
