Synopsis

The mob was after her when she ran, at eighteen. Her father, the mafia boss, never found her. Neither did Angelo, the son he had legally adopted, no blood relation to her at all. Her father died suddenly. Angelo tracked her down and brought her back into the house. They had never been raised together, but he treated her as someone now under his protection. He decided she needed to marry, for her own safety and to keep the empire steady, and took over choosing the man himself. What she wanted was for Angelo to marry her.
