Synopsis

A young human woman has been handed over in marriage to the fae High King and now lives in his court. The match was made to stop a war between the fae and the humans, and it holds only if she gives the king an heir. He is immortal and dangerous, and the one person at court who might stand up for her is him. The fae around her plot constantly, and some of the plots are meant to kill her. She spends her days trying to stay alive and looking for some way to be free.
