Where Lost Hearts Meet Again

The Levin family has money and decides which children count as theirs. Aurelia Shaw spends one night with Tobias Levin after an accident throws them together, and the daughter she gives birth to, Anna, is put out by the rest of the Levins. Six years later Anna plays the violin well enough to be known for it. Aurelia is cleaning for a living. The two of them meet at an orphanage and work out who they are from a jade pendant. People get in the way of the two of them staying together, and a woman turns up claiming to be Anna's mother. Tobias, who has gone on looking for the woman from that night, keeps Aurelia and Anna clear of a business rival who is working against him. There is a kidnapping and there are other attempts on them. The circumstances of Anna's birth come out.
