Shards of Our Love

Dante Locke, who survived a childhood attack that killed his parents, grows up to join the Disaster Relief Unit and marries the reserved Victoria Hale. He becomes uneasy when she grows unusually close to their adopted child and his father, and her indifference eventually drives them apart.
