Synopsis

Allen chased Xenia Smith for five years before they set a wedding date. Xenia spent much of that time with Liam Irwin, whom she described to Allen as a close friend and nothing more. Three days before the ceremony Allen learned that Xenia was pregnant with Liam's child. He cancelled the engagement that day. For five years Allen had been the one who gave way in that relationship, and after the cancellation he was cold with her. Nina Scott, who runs a company and had wanted him since they were at school together, married him not long after.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
