Melina Gibson built a fortune and then trusted the wrong man with it. Taylor Sutton had once been engaged to her daughter Millie, and Melina had let that engagement go without a fight. She wakes up ten years earlier, before Millie has become engaged to Jaxson Perry, before any of it has happened, and with the memory of what Jaxson did to her intact. She sets out to protect Taylor and to put him back where he belongs, which puts her in constant conflict with her own daughter, since Millie holds Taylor in open contempt and is set on Jaxson.
