Amelia Price was on a cruise ship at eighteen when she was taken by kidnappers. Blair, her childhood sweetheart, put himself in front of a bullet for her, went into the sea, and was never recovered. Years later she is an international supermodel, and she comes home to find out what really happened to him. Her answer is to marry Clark Jenkins, head of the Jenkins Group, because she believes he arranged the whole thing. On the night before the wedding she sleeps with Andy Gray, a mechanic with rough hands and no money, and it is not something she planned. The press gets hold of it and prints it.
