Synopsis

Having concealed her identity as the empress, Astrid Sinclair visits the Crown Prince's palace just to watch the ceremony of his marrying a consort named Daphne Lowell. But she ends up getting framed by Daphne for allegedly tearing her wedding gown. Alaric Talbot, the Crown Prince, and the Lowell siblings mistake Astrid for a concubine who has lost the emperor's favor, so they start humiliating her and even threaten to torture her. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
