Synopsis

Marcus's mother died, and finding out how had been his business ever since. He hid what he could do, so people took him for a drunk who had walked out of school at ten. He fought under the name Dark Gladius, which other people knew without knowing it was his. The revenge he wanted was on his stepmother, Flavia. When the old Caesar announced a battle at the colosseum, Marcus took it as his chance.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
