Hate Notes

The blog is anonymous, which is why it can say what it says about Jesse Ellison, and for a while nobody at the school knows who is writing it. Then it gets leaked and the whole school reads it at once. Iris Davis wrote it. Jesse is her brother's best friend, and most of the posts are about how pleased with himself he is. He asks her to help him find the author, and she agrees, since refusing would look odd. The two of them work at it for weeks, going down lists of people it was never going to be. The longer it goes on the more she likes him, and she keeps the search pointed away from herself.
