Synopsis

The Lin family’s legitimate young lady was displaced for five years. After returning home, she discovered the adopted daughter had seized her identity, engagement banquet, marriage contract and ancestral jade bracelet. Her mother favored the imposter and publicly whipped her. Fortunately, her family and Shen elders backed her up. The truth came out that the adopted daughter was her mother’s illegitimate child. The fake heiress and vicious mother got their comeuppance, while the real lady gained the Shen family’s favor and started a new life.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
