Dark Debt, Golden Cage

Elena's father owes a debt he cannot pay. He settles it by handing Elena, a nurse, over to Dante, the heir to a mafia family. Dante locks her in a luxury penthouse. She sees him as the danger at first. Attacks start coming from outside, and they keep coming, and she works out that the people behind them are her own family, working with others who have power. She uses what she knows as a nurse, and her own head, to push back against Dante from inside the penthouse, and she begins investigating on her own. The trail leads to a hidden safe house built for protection, and there she starts to piece together what her family did.
