Rise of the Trash-Tier Pilot

A Class-5 Titan comes up out of the ground under Dome Base. It breaks through the defenses, and every unit sent out against it is destroyed. Panic spreads inside the base, which has nothing left to put in front of the thing. Jake Carter is a cadet there. His father deserted, the other cadets call him a deserter's son for it, and they have written him off as a rookie who will never amount to anything. Jake is the only person who can wake Corona Prime, a mech that was sealed decades ago and has been forbidden since. He has kept that to himself. With the units gone and the base close to being overrun, he heads for the hangar to face the Titan alone.
