From the Cram School to the Mansion

Raina Pace wanted a place at Oxbridge, and she was sitting the exams out of Hills Province, where the intake is the hardest in the country and her family had no money behind her. The Nobles came looking for her before that. She had been separated from them as a small child, and they brought her back to Vanirell, into a house with money in it where nobody treated her as a daughter. Piper, the girl they had adopted and raised in the years between, found fault with her, and the rest of the household took Piper's side. Raina put her time into the exams and got the place at Oxbridge. She also worked out what Piper had been doing in that house and set it in front of the family. They came to her to apologise for how they had treated her.
