Devoted to My Ex's Father: The Mafia Professor

Isabella is a law student out of the slums. At a masked ball she takes a man for her boyfriend and spends the night with him. In the morning she learns he is Vincent, who teaches her criminal psychology at the university, heads a mafia family, and is her boyfriend's father. The boyfriend, now an ex, humiliates her in public more than once, with other people helping him do it. Vincent stops each of those with the family behind him. Isabella answers back on her own account, Vincent included when he corners her. A mistake by either of them can get someone killed. They fall for each other over that stretch anyway, while he is still teaching her class.
