Phoenix in the Cradle

Synopsis

Empress Elaine gives birth to a divine phoenix and fools the court with a pillow disguised as a baby prince. The child can assume an infant's shape and grow its spiritual power by consuming jade, while Elaine protects its identity from every threat. At the hundred-day banquet, restraint ends: the young phoenix reveals its true form before the entire civil and military court.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
