Synopsis

An orphan is threatened, and the man who steps in fought beside the child's father, who is dead. He was once called the Sword God. He has carried a weight of guilt for years and lived under a false name for as long. To protect the child he picks up his sword again, and that takes him back into the world he had walked away from. There his real identity comes out, and so does the conspiracy behind his comrade's death. The murder was carried out by an organization of elite assassins. Now he has to go up against that organization to get his revenge for the killing.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
