Synopsis

Caleb rules the Abyss. His daughter is bound by a pact that will kill her, so he gives up the throne and his divine power to come back to the mortal realm and get her out of it. Without his strength he is exposed to the plots running around him. He builds close ties with the noble heiress Victoria and with other women who become his allies. Schemes stay hidden and the Abyss keeps pressing in on the mortal world, and the fallen king fights beside the people he loves to take his fate back.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
