Synopsis

Evie is returned to House Ashborne as the true heiress, only to be blamed for every misfortune. Her family worships Chloe, the fake heiress, as their lucky star, never knowing Chloe has been stealing Evie’s blessing all along. To repay a blood debt, they send Evie to the cursed Ravenhold Castle as a sacrifice. But the feared Dark Countess refuses to kill her. When Evie saves the Countess with a hidden underworld power, Ravenhold begins to prosper while House Ashborne collapses. Now Chloe, the Church, and the Queen all want Evie’s stolen luck back.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
