A Mother's Two Sons

Synopsis

Fearing that his rural roots would make him look bad, Ma Jiahang lied about being an orphan and stood by as his snobbish wife and mother-in-law bullied his mother, Li Zhuhua. During an inspection, orphan Lu Jingyi unexpectedly reunited with Li Zhuhua—his foster mother from childhood—and decided to bring her into his luxurious home to enjoy a better life. One is an ungrateful biological son, the other a loyal foster son; caught between the two, Li Zhuhua experiences the best and worst of human nature.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
