My Lion King’s Prisoner

Synopsis

White youth Evan is transported to a savage beastman continent and captured as a prisoner by lion king Kellen. Despite multiple failed escape attempts, Evan finds himself gradually moved by Kellen's fierce yet tender devotion. In the end, Evan chooses to abandon his path home, and the two cross species lines to become life partners, ruling the lion tribe together.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
