Small Town Big Star

Synopsis

A small‑town coding girl falls in love with an A‑list movie star hiding his identity over the summer. They reunite on a variety show after she goes back to school. When the female antagonist provokes her, the male lead defends her live on stream and confesses his love publicly. In the end, she lands a top‑tier job offer, he steps away from the entertainment industry and returns to the small town, and the two find their sweet happy ending.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
