Daddy's Little Secret

Chloe Hart's father was ill and the treatment cost more than she had. She agreed to be a surrogate for Alexander Blackwood, who runs an underworld family. She gave birth to a girl, Lily, and was made to disappear afterwards. Her father died anyway. She spent everything she had on a new face and a new identity, and came back to the Blackwood house as Ella Miller, an elite housekeeper, in order to be near her daughter. Alexander notices things about the new housekeeper: the way she stands, her warmth around the child, a birthmark. He starts testing her. Lily is five, and she recognizes her mother on the first day, and keeps pulling the two adults toward the truth. Chloe has to decide when and how to tell him who she is.
