The Dragon's Return: Reclaiming My Throne

On the night Kaelen comes of age, his three brothers cut the tendons in his hands and feet and take his inheritance and his fiancée. His father makes him a slave and sends him to the Silent Deadfire Volcano. Kaelen is the firstborn of the House of the Red Dragon on the Dragon Continent, where bloodline decides everything. The people who can turn into dragons hold the rank there, and someone born without the ability is marked as an Exile and lives as a slave. Kaelen was born unable to shift. At the volcano the legacy of the Progenitor Dragon God, ten thousand years old, wakes in his blood. Over ten years he heals and learns the magic of the Dragon Tongue. By then a holy war has broken out and the House of the Red Dragon is close to being wiped out. Kaelen comes back with his identity hidden, working as a dragon hunter.
