Forbidden Love: My Mafia Queen

Selena is the heir of a mafia family, and the Cassano family is its rival. She is paying one million dollars for a surrogate to carry a child for her. Eva, a psychotherapist, takes the contract. Her husband Ethan has leukemia and the money is for his treatment. Once she is living at Selena's villa she learns what Ethan has been doing. He had gambling debts. From the beginning he had treated her as a commodity, and he had sold her due date to the Cassano family to cover them. There are attacks, a kidnapping, and betrayal from inside the household, and Eva and Selena go from employer and surrogate to being in love while they keep the child safe. Dante, who was Selena's lover before and now guards her, is shot twice protecting Eva and backs the two of them afterward.
