Run Before Dawn

Synopsis

At 3 a.m., Anna shakes Amy awake. Dark stairs, no lights. She whispers, "Grab IDs and run." Barefoot, they creep through halls, dodge steps, slip past taped doors, scale walls. They hide in a motel. By dawn, the chat explodes. Amy senses a secret. Worse, Anna sees threats coming, as if reading moves. But she won't say who.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
