Synopsis

In 2060, Axel, a mixed-blood teen branded a loser, suffers with his human mother in a mutant world. Unaware his superhuman power has awakened, his strength is sealed by three masters. Forced into the Ascendancy Trials, Axel unleashes his power and crushes rivals. When war erupts between humans and mutants, he exposes a DNA conspiracy and unites both worlds.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
